 | IKS allows both traditional 4-cycle bodywork as well as CIK bodywork as
noted. |
 | IKS allows the use of a manufacture front wheel hand brake system in
addition to a manufactured rear brake system in all classes except KID KARTS,
JUNIOR SPORTSMAN 2 or 4, ICC, TAG and TAG JUNIOR. Exemptions will be issued if
medically required. |
 | IKS allows the use of a manufactures front wheel brake system in addition
to a manufactured rear brake system in TAG and TAG JUNIOR. Brake system must
be foot operated. |
 | IKS has no maximum or minimum heights requirements, however all karts are subject to safety
tech based on the race venue. |
 | IKS allows a 50mm maximum diameter axle in select classes. |
 | IKS requires you to have your number displayed on 4 sides of the kart. |
 | IKS requires you to mount your transponder behind the front wheels. |
 | IKS requires all ballast to be white and securely mounted to the
chassis or seat. Two bolts with either double nuts, safety wired or pinned
is recommended. |
 | IKS can and will revise the Chassis Tech to ensure fair and impartial
treatment to all associates. |
