bulletHow do I become a member? First off, IKS is not a club, there are no memberships. What we offer is a Series Points Associate or (SPA). SPA allows you to accrue points for series end championships. The cost of this is Forty Dollars ($40.00) for a single associate or Seventy-Five Dollars ($75.00) for a family associate with up to 4 additional associates. IKS FORMS
bulletHow much does it cost to race with IKS?  The race fee is Forty Five Dollars ($45.00) for your first entry and Thirty Five Dollars ($35.00) for each additional class entered for SPA's, Non-SPA pay an additional Five Dollars ($5.00). Entries received on race day or race weekend will be assessed a Five Dollar ($5.00) processing fee per entry, SPA or Non-SPA.
bulletWhat rules do you follow? IKS IS NOT AFFILIATED WITH THE WORLD KARTING ASSOCIATION, in any way, but in an interest to allow our associates the compatibility to compete with them, we will follow their guidelines. IKS rules will supersede any other document's.
bulletWhy is the Kid Karts class a non-point class?  IKS strongly believes that our young drivers need encouragement, support and consideration to keep them focused on improving their driving skills.
bulletWill there be qualifying for starting positions? Yes. IKS qualifies for starting positions at most events. On two-day events we will qualify on Saturday, otherwise qualifying takes place on race day.
bulletHow are points distributed? IKS rewards its associates in addition to race day points with points for perfect attendance. If you attend all of the scheduled races, IKS awards you with 5 additional points. We do not award points to Non-SPA's, big events will not affect your points race.
